We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team at Signal, where we build essential infrastructure for private digital communication. You will work alongside a talented group to create elegant, high-quality interfaces that protect free expression for millions of users worldwide, all while operating in a mission-driven environment that prioritizes user privacy over profit.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship high-quality features for our mobile applications.
- Guide design projects from the initial concept phase through to final execution.
- Conduct user research to gather insights and meaningful feedback.
- Utilize industry-standard design tools and prototyping software to iterate on complex problems.
- Apply your deep knowledge of platform conventions, design patterns, and components to ensure a seamless user experience.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional industry experience in product design.
- A proven track record of shipping successful mobile applications.
- Proficiency in modern design tools and prototyping best practices, such as Framer or Origami.
- Strong understanding of user research methodologies and the ability to translate feedback into design improvements.
- Fluency in English.
