The role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote-friendly position open to candidates across the United States. You will play a pivotal role in our design process, working closely with our founders, engineering, research, and data science teams to influence the direction of our product and the company as a whole.

Core responsibilities

• Design and ship high-quality product features that scale to millions of users while maintaining a focus on speed and practical execution.
• Act as a champion for the user by gathering feedback and iterating on designs to ensure our product fosters meaningful connections.
• Take full ownership of design initiatives, ranging from visual redesigns to the development of complex network growth models, with complete autonomy over your work.

Skills and experience

You should be an experienced full-stack designer who is comfortable navigating every stage of the design process. We value candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Strong visual craft with a deep appreciation for typography, layout, and microinteractions.
• A systems thinking mindset that allows you to build cohesive style guides, color palettes, and network structures.
• Expertise in Figma and a meticulous approach to organizing files and collaborating with engineering teams.
• A deep understanding of the psychology behind social products, including user motivations and the impact of interactions on community dynamics.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial spirit with a bias toward action and a commitment to solving edge cases and error states.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive base salary for this position, ranging from $218,000 to $255,000 USD, depending on your experience. In addition to base pay, we provide the following perks:
