The opportunity

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be a vital part of our product development process, working closely with product managers and engineers to turn complex financial concepts into simple, elegant user experiences. Whether you are refining our SigFig Nest design system or participating in cross-functional design sprints, your work will directly influence how consumers and financial executives interact with our tools. You will have the chance to make a significant impact on our product roadmap while helping us maintain the high standards of accessibility and design that our partners expect.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate with development teams and product managers to define feature requirements and ensure that our design vision is executed accurately during the build process.
• You will translate intricate financial workflows and data visualizations into user-friendly interfaces that simplify the experience for our customers.
• You will participate in user research and partner meetings to gather insights, helping to prioritize the most impactful features for our users.

Who you are

You are a creative problem solver with 3 to 5 years of professional experience and a portfolio that demonstrates your strategic thinking and design process. You communicate fluently in English and are comfortable working in a remote environment. Your background includes the following skills and qualifications:

• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong foundations in UX design, interaction design, and a passion for building robust design systems.
• A technical understanding of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is preferred.
• Experience or interest in the finance sector, along with a degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
• A collaborative spirit, with experience working alongside sales and marketing teams to create cohesive product collateral.
