What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Creators team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a significant role for an experienced designer who wants to help build the systems, workflows, and interfaces that empower our community of creators. You will work closely with our design lead to support the artists and developers who build the worlds and avatars that define the VRChat experience.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and your design lead to refine core creator workflows, including content management, publishing, and monetization.
- Design intuitive interfaces that cater to a wide range of users, from hobbyists just starting out to professional developers.
- Translate complex technical concepts into approachable user experiences through clear visual hierarchy, thoughtful flows, and user-friendly microcopy.
What makes you a great fit?
You have at least 3 years of professional product design experience, ideally with a focus on tools, platforms, or workflows. You are fluent in Figma and have a strong grasp of how to simplify complex systems without losing their power. We are looking for someone who thinks in terms of user journeys and is excited to collaborate with engineering teams to bring designs to life. You should be comfortable communicating in English and possess a genuine curiosity about technical topics, including how creators use tools like Unity and SDKs. If you have experience with social VR, cross-platform design, or moderation systems, that is a fantastic bonus.
