The role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Australia, where you will collaborate with our talented product squads to create beautiful, intuitive solutions. You will play a critical role in defining how our users interact with our platform, ensuring that every experience feels magical and seamless.

Core responsibilities

• Ideate, design, and implement high-quality solutions that change how people connect, while contributing to the evolution of our company brand, voice, and tone.
• Develop deep user empathy to envision how people interact with Blinq, using first principles to design world-class experiences for our business users.
• Launch, analyze, and iterate on designs through tight feedback loops with our customers and internal teams, while helping to build and maintain a robust design system.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience designing and shipping successful SaaS products.
• Exceptional visual design skills with the ability to create assets from scratch and a strong eye for detail.
• Proven experience working with or contributing to a design system.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the reasoning behind your design decisions.
• A deep sense of user empathy and the ability to design for audiences with diverse needs.
• A proactive, independent mindset and a desire to grow alongside our senior designers.
