At Zuva we make contract analysis AI simple to use. Our machine learning technology helps businesses extract the details that matter from their documents so teams can make faster, smarter decisions. We spun out of Kira Systems, whose platform is trusted by most of the AmLaw 100 law firms, and we now offer that same capability to developers and software vendors building the next generation of document-driven solutions.
The role
We are looking for a senior Product Designer to join our small, cross-functional product team on a one-year remote contract with the possibility of renewal. You will shape the user experience of a new internal-facing contract analysis application, guiding everything from early research through final interface details.
Core responsibilities
- Plan and run user interviews, synthesize findings, and translate insights into clear problem statements that the team can act on.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs in Figma that solve identified user needs while maintaining consistency with our design system.
- Partner daily with product managers and engineers to move designs from concept to shipped feature, and coordinate with marketing to keep messaging aligned across products and the website.
Skills and experience
You bring several years of product design experience focused on B2B end-user tools, along with a proven process for uncovering user needs through research and iterative design. You are comfortable producing wireframes, journey maps, and polished UI in Figma, and you understand how to apply WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines. Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with product managers and development teams are essential. Familiarity with Jira and Google Workspace tools supports our day-to-day workflow. Experience with HTML, CSS, or formal usability testing is helpful but not required.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a remote-first environment with unlimited vacation and additional Zuva Days throughout the year so you can recharge when you need it. Our comprehensive benefits plan covers you and your dependents, and we provide allowances for education, home office equipment, and internet. We value continuous learning, host occasional in-person meetups in Toronto, and maintain a culture built on trust, flexibility, and shared ownership of meaningful work.
How to apply
If this opportunity aligns with your experience and interests, we encourage you to apply. We review every application and look forward to learning how you could contribute to Zuva’s mission.
