Level Access, the leader in digital accessibility, is seeking a dedicated Product Designer to join our dynamic team. We are working on creating inclusive digital experiences, and as a member of our team, you will play a key role in crafting the user experience of our digital accessibility technology products.
Role Overview:
As a Product Designer in our Testing product area, you will focus on improving the testing experience for both our internal and external customers. This is an outstanding opportunity to apply your systems thinking and service design mindset, along with your UX expertise, to build impactful solutions. Your work will not only improve user experiences but also elevate the way our internal teams deliver services. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to develop flawless and innovative experiences for our users.
Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and accessible user interfaces for our digital accessibility technology products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and build design solutions.
- Contribute to the design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across our platform.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to capture insights and iterate on designs.
- Contribute to short- and long-term design strategy.
- Provide design reviews for other designers.
- Analyze existing products and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience designing various digital tools, including web-based applications, native applications, plugins, etc.
- 3-4 years of experience working with and contributing to design systems.
- Demonstrated ability to use data to build the design of digital tools and products.
- 3-4 years of experience collaborating with Product Managers in agile environments.
- Excellent at design discovery including problem framing
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in seeking cross-functional alignment.
- Sophisticated knowledge of UX research practices.
- Experience with un-moderated user testing tools such as Maze.
Nice to haves:
- Experience in service design practices.
- Expertise in design principles, usability principles, and standard methodologies.
- Understanding digital accessibility for design.
