Our Role:

We are seeking a Mid  level Product Designer to join our Mobile Apps delivery squad.
The designer will  take ownership of designs for our iOS and Android native apps, and contribute to our vibrant design team culture.

What You’ll Do:

• Design Intuitive Interactions: Create engaging and intuitive UX/UI  designs  for our iOS and Android native app,  using Figma. 

• Prototyping: Create clickable prototypes to get a feel for the user experience, and communicate designs to engineers and the broader team

• Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver and ship new features, sharing knowledge and enhancing team collaboration.

• Present Designs: Present and rationalise designs,   and key milestone deliverables to peers and the leadership team.

• Conduct Research: Perform qualitative and quantitative research to gain insights into customer engagement.

• Data Driven Decisions and Research: Use available product data and perform qualitative/quantitative research to gain insights into our customers and make data informed  decisions that  positively impact the user experience

• Promote Design Standards: Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

• Manage Projects: Self manage and take ownership  for all design work within your delivery squad, ensuring required design outcomes and timings are met. With Senior Design Mentor support.

• Influence Positive Change: Uphold ethical standards and create a supportive work environment to influence positive change within the team.

Skills We Need:

• Experience with Product Design for Mobile Apps:  Demonstrated experience in designing experiences for iOS and Android Native apps.

• Use of Native App Guidelines:  Knowledge and experience adhering to  Apple Interface Guidelines and Material Design Guidelines.

• Proficiency in Figma: Strong understanding and experience in working with Figma to deliver web/mobile applications.

• UX Skills: Ability to unpack the problem space, journey map and generate ideas, in a lean and rapid way. Move from low-fieality to through to high-fieality through  wireframing.

• UI Design Skills: A strong interest in UI design, with practical knowledge and experience in applying user-centric design principles.

• Design Systems: Experience in developing and maintaining design systems with practical knowledge of atomic design.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Engagement with Trends: Curious and highly engaged with the latest product design, mobile app trends, and technology.

• Continuous Learning: An innate drive for continuous learning and improvement.

• A No Ego Mentality:  Ability to prioritise  team collaboration, open feedback, and aligning to business goals, over personal pride or attachment to individual ideas.
