We are looking for a Product Design Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. OpenTable is a global leader in the hospitality industry, backed by over 23 years of experience and a network that serves millions of diners and tens of thousands of restaurants. As part of the Booking Holdings portfolio, we provide tools that help venues manage capacity, improve operations, and grow their revenue. In this hybrid role, you will lead a team of designers to create high-quality, user-centered experiences while fostering a culture of growth and innovation. Please note that this position requires working from our San Francisco headquarters two days per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of designers across various experience levels, ensuring the delivery of high-quality product experiences for web and mobile platforms.
- Take accountability for the user experience output of your team while acting as a strategic partner to product and engineering leads to define roadmaps and improve execution processes.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment by managing team operations, such as design reviews and standups, while advocating for your product area across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in people management within a product design context.
- Proven background working on complex B2B products within large-scale, product-led organizations.
- Strong proficiency in visual design, UX, and storytelling, with the ability to teach and elevate the skills of others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve user-oriented goals.
What we offer
