Product Design Lead at Complete

Complete is on a mission to transform how high-impact companies handle compensation by moving workflows away from static spreadsheets and into the modern era. We are looking for a Product Design Lead to join our team in San Francisco, where we work on-site four to five days a week to maintain our fast-paced, collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead our design function while fostering a strong design culture within the company.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to guide the design voice from initial concept through to final launch.
• Translate business goals and user needs into clear product opportunities by collaborating closely with founders and product teams.
• Facilitate concept explorations to encourage bold, innovative thinking.
• Distill complex requirements into intuitive user experiences and define the product information architecture.
• Develop wireframes, templates, and high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma to illustrate key interactions.
• Maintain visual and interactive cohesion across all products by leveraging deep knowledge of design systems and interaction patterns.
• Ensure all designs are accessible while executing realistic behaviors and movements in prototypes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering, research, and writing partners throughout the product development cycle.

• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and establish design vision and strategy for global products.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
