We are currently looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Canada on a full-time, on-site basis.

Key outcomes

• Take full ownership of mechanical design, including the development, prototyping, and validation of our systems.
• Oversee the ongoing maintenance and evolution of the thermal, mechanical, and linear motion systems that power our 3D printers.
• Drive high-level design decisions and provide mentorship to fellow engineers to ensure technical excellence.
• Influence the direction of our products and deliver a significant impact on our user experience through your technical contributions.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience in the design, planning, prototyping, and validation of mechanical systems.
• Proven experience working with motion systems.
• The ability to navigate and evaluate complex multidisciplinary trade-offs.
• Familiarity with product certification and compliance standards such as CE, ETL, TUV, CSA, and UL.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
• At least 3 years of experience in a mentoring role.
• Fluency in both English and French.
