We are looking for a talented Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team in the United States and help us continue our rapid growth as we transform how buildings operate.
What you'll be doing
- You will design, prototype, and test complex electronic systems, focusing on RF circuits, low-power microcontrollers, and sensor peripherals.
- You will lead the development of sensor interface electronics for IoT applications, ensuring that all designs are optimized for performance, power efficiency, and cost.
- You will manage the full design lifecycle, from creating schematic diagrams and guiding PCB layouts to debugging prototypes and ensuring compliance with industry standards like FCC and CE.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this executive-level role, you should possess a strong background in electrical engineering and a passion for innovation. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a Ph.D. being a plus.
- Over 10 years of professional experience in board design and testing for embedded platforms that integrate novel sensors.
- Deep expertise in high-speed circuit design, RF testing methodologies, and designing low-power circuits for battery-operated devices.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Altium, Cadence, Eagle, SPICE, and MATLAB.
- Strong knowledge of wireless protocols like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and LoRa, alongside experience with MEMS, optical, thermal, and radar sensing technologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to lead complex projects independently and collaborate effectively with contract manufacturing partners.
