We are now seeking a Principal AI Engineer to join our team and help us leverage generative AI to create tools that improve mental health outcomes faster.

Key outcomes

• Lead the design and implementation of AI agents and agentic patterns to enhance our mental health platform.
• Develop and optimize LLM workflows, utilizing techniques such as fine-tuning and many-shot in-context learning.
• Establish best practices for prompt engineering and evaluate LLM performance to ensure reliability.
• Build scalable, reusable AI infrastructure and maintain robust MLOps practices for efficient deployment.
• Translate product requirements into comprehensive evaluation sets that align with our business goals.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning by mentoring junior engineers and reviewing the latest research in the field.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate AI initiatives into our product roadmap and user experience.

Requirements

• An advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in AI and machine learning engineering, with a proven history of leading projects at top-tier technology firms.
• Mastery of Python and proficiency with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.
• Deep expertise in NLP, generative models, and AI infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A genuine passion for using technology to transform mental healthcare and improve lives.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with low-level programming in C++ or Rust to optimize AI system performance.

Compensation

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $190,000 per year. We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees in all facets of their lives, including:
