The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Recruitment, you will coordinate and champion marketing and digital campaigns in support of your assigned schools, departments, and programs. You are a creative and tactical marketing professional with a track record for inbound campaigns that drive customer/student acquisition.
You are a trend-seeker, and more importantly, a trend-setter. Your campaigns are cutting-edge and innovative. As a member of the Marketing team, you are responsible for envisioning, developing and leading marketing campaigns that generate leads. As a performance marketing specialist, you will utilize social media, web, mobile and traditional marketing channels to reach your target audiences. Targeting is key to your success. You never run a campaign without a way to measure it with a keen focus on customer acquisition as the most important metric. You analyze your campaigns and make adjustments along the way.
You have exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to cultivate strong relationships and partnerships with various stakeholders including prospective students, parents, alumni, partners, faculty, staff, and suppliers. In ensuring client satisfaction, you show a passion for quality and attention to detail. You are recognized as a community and consensus builder and work to create a collaborative environment leading to extensive stakeholder buy-in and engagement. You are patient when you need to be, and bold when the objectives require it.
The Role
Recruitment Marketing - 90%Coordinate and appropriately resource internal and external creative partners in the campaign processDetermine the channel, audience targeting or segmentation, density, and the creative concept/message and call to action for each campaignMonitor campaign metrics and respond as appropriate, including making adjustments mid-campaignManaging the content and creative components including working with other team members and/or vendors in productionStakeholder Services - 10%Collaborate with multiple client groups to source and verify content, build copy and creativeEnsure project planning includes stakeholder input and considerationsProvide real-time and milestone updates to stakeholdersSupport a client-centred approach in all aspects of the work we do, with a focus on transparency and inclusion.Qualifications & Experience
Degree or diploma in marketing, business or similar education Five years minimum directly related work experience in digital marketing including project coordination and managing approval processesDirect, hands-on experience in implementing and managing successful paid advertising campaigns including pay-per-click advertising on platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google, Programmatic Display and othersKnowledge & Skills
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights. Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and analytics dashboards is essentialAn adaptable mindset to adjust strategies based on evolving industry standards. Demonstrate an innovative and agile approach in testing new strategiesA strong knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices, keyword research, and optimization strategiesDigital Marketing Certificate from the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) or equivalent certification considered an assetProject management and client services skills, collaborative team member, and able to manage multiple client projects and deliver on deadlinesOrganized and detail-oriented, able to maintain quality control and consistency in the look and feel of SAIT’s institutional campaignsFamiliarity with CRMs, marketing automation, and email marketing is considered an assetProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is considered an assetStrong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting, editing and proofing skills.
