At Backflip, we are on a mission to reshape residential real estate investing. As a venture-backed FinTech company, we provide entrepreneurs with the technology, capital, and data insights needed to acquire and renovate single-family homes. By supporting these investors, we help revitalize housing supplies and strengthen local communities. We are currently a team of about 50 people, and we are looking for passionate individuals to join us as we scale our platform and drive meaningful change in the industry.
About the Role
We are seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. In this mid-level role, you will be the internal expert responsible for leading our paid and performance marketing channels. You will craft and own our campaigns, ensuring we execute at the highest standards as we grow. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, including our Chief Marketing Officer, in a fast-paced, Series A startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead performance marketing efforts across Meta, Google, and other paid social channels to drive company growth.
- Collaborate with the CMO to build and manage annual acquisition budgets while continually evaluating cross-channel spend to maximize revenue and minimize cost per acquisition.
- Design and oversee comprehensive testing strategies, including A/B creative testing and incrementality tests, to identify and scale the most effective marketing tactics.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a field such as Business, Marketing, Statistics, Psychology, or Communications.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a quantitative marketing role, specifically managing strategy and execution for performance-oriented channels like social and search.
- Proven track record of creating campaigns that have significantly increased revenue and user growth.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta, Paid Search, and YouTube.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret consumer behavior, assess campaign performance, and manage acquisition targets.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and the ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Location
This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere within the United States.
