Backflip is a venture-backed FinTech company dedicated to transforming the real estate investing landscape. We provide an all-in-one platform that equips entrepreneurs with the technology, data, and capital products necessary to acquire and renovate single-family homes. By supporting these investors, we are helping to revitalize housing supplies and strengthen local communities. We are currently scaling our team of 50 following a successful $15 million Series A round, and we are looking for passionate individuals to help us drive our mission forward.
The role
We are searching for a Performance Marketing Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position that reports directly to our Chief Marketing Officer. As an early hire in our marketing department, you will lead our paid growth and digital marketing channels from the ground up. This is a remote role available to candidates located anywhere in the United States, offering a rare opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, well-capitalized startup environment.
Core responsibilities
- Own the strategy and execution for paid growth across channels like Meta and Google, ensuring we hit our acquisition targets while maintaining a focus on efficiency.
- Collaborate with our product and marketing teams to design and implement rigorous A/B testing for creative assets, landing pages, and spend scaling to optimize the user funnel.
- Manage acquisition budgets and provide detailed reporting on key performance indicators to identify growth opportunities and refine our approach based on consumer insights.
Skills and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in a field such as Business, Marketing, Statistics, Psychology, or Communications.
- Three to four years of experience in a quantitative marketing role, specifically managing in-house campaign strategy and execution on social and search channels.
- Proven success in driving scalable growth through data-driven testing, iteration, and ROI analysis.
- Hands-on proficiency with Google Ads, Meta, and other performance-oriented platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep interest in understanding consumer behavior and optimizing cost per acquisition.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, a bias for action, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, remote, and relatively unstructured environment.
