The opportunity
We are searching for a talented Multi-channel Storyteller to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will act as the voice of our organization, crafting narratives that resonate with our community and amplify our mission. You will play a vital part in our marketing efforts, helping us reach more people and inspire the next generation of tech leaders. If you are a writer who understands the power of social media and has a heart for our mission, we would love to have you help us shape our story.
A day in the life
- You will develop and implement creative marketing campaigns by working closely with our cross-functional teammates.
- You will draft compelling copy for a variety of platforms, including social media posts, email newsletters, event descriptions, and promotional banners.
- You will manage our social media presence, engaging directly with our audience and ensuring our brand voice remains consistent and authentic.
Who you are
We are looking for a mid-level professional who brings a blend of creativity and strategic thinking to the table. You should have 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing or social media writing. We value candidates who are comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment and who can take the initiative to find the answers they need. Ideally, you have a background in coding or a strong interest in STEAM fields. You are a clear communicator who works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team, and you are deeply committed to the vision of Black Girls Code.
