We are looking for a Senior Motion Designer II to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity in India. At Meesho, we are dedicated to democratizing internet commerce for the next billion consumers. Our platform serves as a vital partner for over 1.75 million small businesses, helping them succeed by providing an accessible, low-cost e-commerce experience that bridges gaps in language, literacy, and culture. As part of our diverse design team of 30 professionals, you will play a key role in making online shopping intuitive and engaging for users who are often transacting online for the first time.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain visual guidelines and standards while contributing to the evolution of our design system through high-quality motion assets and principles.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to transform concepts into production-ready solutions that solve real user and business problems.
- Craft impactful animations, UI elements, icons, and screen transitions that enhance usability and engagement across our web and mobile platforms.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in motion design, specifically focused on Product or UI animation.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in UI design, illustration, and complex micro-interactions.
- Deep technical proficiency in Figma, Adobe After Effects, and Lottie, including hands-on experience implementing Lottie JSON animations.
- A bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Please note that this is a specialized motion design role rather than an art direction or general graphic design position.
