About the Role

As the Product Manager for our Identity Platform product, you'll oversee a critical aspect of Riskified's operations. Our Identity Platform drives our ability to uncover the true identities behind e-commerce orders, informing decisions on thousands of daily transactions worth millions of dollars.

In this role, you'll lead the enhancement of our Identity Platform, collaborating closely with engineering and data science teams to solve complex challenges and leverage insights. You'll focus on strategic direction, aligning with Riskified's goals, and collaborating with stakeholders to address scaling challenges. Working with engineers and data scientists, you'll craft innovative solutions and balance technical constraints with business needs in the product roadmap, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Define and own the product vision for Riskified's Identity Engine, a ML-based product that identifies connections between accounts with similar properties or patterns.
• Drive product development by prioritizing and managing the product backlog, ensuring we solve critical identity-related challenges and deliver value to our users.
• Collaborate closely with research and data science teams to define business value and prioritize initiatives within the Identity Engine, leveraging technical knowledge and experience with scale and cloud-based products.
• Lead the enhancement of the Identity Explorer product, which allows investigation and management of identities through a user interface (UI), involving discovery work such as user interviews and outbound efforts to sell and grow the customer base.
• Translate strategic product goals into actionable tasks and oversee their execution across relevant departments, balancing technical constraints with business needs, preferably with experience in graph technology.
• Plan and oversee the release of new products and features within the Identity Engine and Identity Explorer, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ Years of Product Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in product management, focusing on technical and data-driven products.
• Technical and Data Science Knowledge: Proficiency in understanding and working with ML-based products, preferably with experience in big data and cloud-based technologies. Familiarity with graph technology is a plus.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to leverage both qualitative insights and quantitative data to drive product decisions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and preferences.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-driven and proactive approach to problem-solving, capable of working autonomously to achieve goals.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
