Our mission is to provide universal access to deep clinical expertise by deploying autonomous patient-facing agents. As the most capitalized company in the healthcare AI space, we collaborate with prestigious institutions like the Cleveland Clinic and Stanford to transform patient outcomes. We are currently looking for a Senior Medical Safety Expert to join us on a contractor basis. This remote role is essential for developing and validating our AI-powered adverse event detection engine, ensuring our technology meets the highest clinical and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical guidance on pharmacovigilance, focusing on FDA requirements for adverse event reporting and MedWatch compliance.
- Collaborate with our AI and clinical informatics teams to design annotation schemas, define clinically validated criteria for reportable events, and refine classification taxonomies.
- Oversee quality and safety by reviewing model outputs, conducting error analysis, and establishing safe fail protocols for ambiguous clinical scenarios.
Requirements
- An MD degree, with board certification strongly preferred.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO sectors.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working within the health tech or AI industry, specifically with clinical data or regulatory technology.
- Deep familiarity with MedDRA, FDA reporting standards, and ICH E2B guidelines.
- Proven ability to work with or review outputs from AI and LLM systems, paired with exceptional clinical judgment.
