About the Role
We are seeking a Mechatronics Engineering Intern to join our team in an internship capacity. In this role, you will serve as a hands-on contributor to the development of our robotics systems. You will function as a T-shaped engineer, focusing on robotics software, electrical, or mechanical design to help us validate and improve novel solutions for industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to investigate new designs, build system prototypes, and evaluate technical feasibility within our Robotics Lab.
- Develop, execute, and document comprehensive test plans to validate and enhance our state-of-the-art hardware and software.
- Apply your engineering expertise to solve complex problems that define the next generation of manufacturing.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong communication skills and a meticulous approach to process detail.
- Proficiency in data interpretation, analysis, and the ability to communicate findings through visualizations.
- Experience with programming and applied mathematics, specifically in Python, C++, or Matlab.
- A portfolio of personal or professional projects that demonstrate your problem-solving capabilities.
- Preferred experience includes motion planning, robot programming, mechanical design for fixtures, and familiarity with kinematics or precision mechanisms.

This position is an on-site role based in the United States.
