At Delta Airport Consultants, Inc., we are a team of aviation enthusiasts dedicated to providing full-service consulting for clients ranging from large commercial hubs to general aviation facilities. We specialize in civil engineering and facility and environmental planning, and we pride ourselves on being a group of creative, challenge-the-status-quo professionals who consistently go above and beyond for our customers. We are currently looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist and Proposal Writer to join our team in our Midlothian, Virginia office. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will have the opportunity to map your own professional journey while working on projects that make a tangible impact on the aviation industry.

Key outcomes

• Lead the end-to-end development and submission process for high-quality proposals in response to various solicitations, such as RFPs and RFQs.
• Partner with our technical leaders to craft winning strategies that align perfectly with client requirements.
• Create comprehensive response plans and coordinate all necessary internal and external resources.
• Write, edit, and proofread proposal content to ensure it is persuasive, clear, and fully compliant.
• Design supplemental materials, including exhibits, infographics, and tables, to enhance our submissions.
• Maintain an organized library of project profiles, employee resumes, and relevant photography.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading.
• Hands-on experience with desktop publishing, with a specific focus on Adobe InDesign.
• Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
• A proven track record of managing multiple complex projects while meeting tight deadlines.
• A reliable, self-disciplined, and highly organized approach to work.
• The ability to work autonomously and maintain composure under pressure.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to checking work for quality.
• Strong relationship-building skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and subconsultants.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
