We are Customer.io, a company on a mission to power automated communications that people actually enjoy receiving. Over 7,500 internet businesses currently rely on our platform to manage, send, and track messages like emails, SMS, and push notifications by leveraging behavioral data. We are looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be at the core of our go-to-market engine, building systems and automating processes that help us scale effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex, multi-step automations that support our marketing and sales workflows, ensuring reliable data flow across our entire tech stack.
- Manage and troubleshoot our existing platforms, including Salesforce, Snowflake, and Google Analytics, while leading the integration of new tools through API connections and custom mapping.
- Maintain high standards for data integrity and operational efficiency by auditing existing processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams like sales, product, and customer success.
Requirements
- Two to four years of experience in Revenue, Marketing, or Sales Operations, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in CRM and database management, specifically with tools like Salesforce and Snowflake.
- Proven ability to handle integrations using APIs, webhooks, and no-code automation platforms such as Zapier or N8n.
- Experience with data handling, including SQL and web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- A builder’s mindset with a passion for operational excellence and the ability to write lightweight scripts to solve ad hoc technical challenges.
