About the Role
We're searching for a creative, analytical, up-and-coming Marketing Manager to join Zeller to help us rapidly accelerate new customer acquisition, drive increased product adoption, and distinctly differentiate Zeller's brand as Australia's leading alternative to the traditional, outdated business banks in an increasing crowded market.
You'll be responsible for, and own the strategy to, achieve aggressive growth targets, and be accountable for Zeller's full marketing campaign mix with oversight across all of our channels (paid and owned). Hands-on across a wide variety of marketing types (content, product, SEO, performance, digital, programmatic, social, event, and partner) is essential.
The ideal candidate is a hard-working marketer with unparalleled attention-to-detail, who has worked in a disruptive brand that is challenging the status quo. To be successful in this role you'll need to be capable of working across multiple concurrent projects and campaign, enjoy (and thrive!) in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and have experience leading and motivating small groups and teams through complex projects and challenges to achieve amazing outcomes.

Role Responsibilities
  • Ideate and deploy bold, creative marketing and advertising campaigns that solidify Zeller's position as Australia's leading payments and financial services disruptor.
  • Develop creative and compelling marketing and advertising messaging that sets Zeller apart.
  • Manage, optimise, and improve ongoing performance across all scalable channels including paid search, display, video, paid social, SEO, and email.
  • Own the lifecycle and customer journey for all businesses signing up for Zeller, utilising email, website, content, in-product marketing and more to drive establishment, activation, and product x-sell.
  • Deliver and nurture high value leads (MQLs) to the Zeller database, routing an effective path to sales delivery and closing.
  • Drive web conversion rate optimisation, A/B testing and landing page strategy.
  • Own fully-realised go-to-market strategies across products and campaigns — including targeting, segmentation, product positioning, value propositions, key messaging, marketing channels (paid, earned, and owned), budgets, and lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with partners on co-marketing, lead sharing, events, and activations to mutually benefit from activities.
  • Review competitive offerings and promote ongoing differentiation in our marketing, campaigns, and advertising.
  • Own the numbers — you’ll be comfortable tracking, analysing, and reporting on all marketing KPIs, and take absolute ownership over the team's success or failure.


  • Qualifications and Experience
  • 4+ years of marketing experience, with at least 1+ leading a small team or project managing groups.
  • A creative mind that can ideate, deliver and execute on bold campaigns that feel completely unachievable and disruptive.
  • Well-rounded experience in the following channels: email, performance, digital, SEO, content, social media, demand generation, content, event, partner, and product marketing.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear examples of using data to measure campaign impact and ROI.
  • An autonomous self-starter who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves in order to get a project done.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and an eye for design; down to the last character, image crop, or line break.
  • Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of the leading tools, platforms, and technologies to make a marketing team more efficient. You’ll thrive on educating others in the team on what you’re doing and why it’s important.
  • Passionate about marketing — you stay across trends, insights, platforms and brands that are ahead of the curve.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A tertiary education, or a track record of relevant experience that proves it wasn’t needed.

  • Experience in delivering creative campaigns for disruptive local or global brands.
  • Exposure to local or global SaaS / B2B technology brands that serve small to medium sized businesses.
