At Rockstar Games, we pride ourselves on crafting world-class entertainment experiences. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at our office in Tokyo, Japan. This is a pivotal role for a driven professional who wants to make a significant impact on our business growth within the Japanese market. You will serve as our primary point of contact in the region, working independently while collaborating remotely with our international publishing team to bring our high-profile titles to local players.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing roadmaps to increase brand and product awareness among Japanese audiences.
- Design tailored product marketing strategies, focusing on positioning and messaging that resonate with the local gaming community.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local partners, including media outlets, distributors, and key creators, while staying ahead of regional industry trends.
Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese and fluency in English.
- A degree and at least 5 years of professional experience in consumer marketing, with a preference for those with a background in interactive entertainment.
- Proven expertise in launching or managing Western brands and intellectual property within the Japanese market.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, project management, and data analysis, paired with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- A deep passion for the video game industry and a self-disciplined, results-oriented work ethic.
