At Chef Robotics, we are driven by a bold mission to bring intelligent machines into the physical world. While the rise of large language models has transformed digital spaces, we believe the most significant impact of AI lies in physical industries like food, manufacturing, and transportation, which account for the vast majority of global GDP. We are starting in the kitchen, with the ambitious goal of placing an intelligent robot in every commercial kitchen on the planet. We are growing rapidly, backed by prominent investors like Kleiner Perkins, Construct, Bloomberg BETA, and Promus Ventures. Our team is composed of talented experts from industry leaders such as Cruise, Tesla, Google, and Amazon Robotics. Having operated in stealth mode to focus on engineering and operations, we are now preparing for our first public release and are looking for a visionary to help us become the dominant brand in robotics and embodied AI.
The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to serve as our very first marketing hire. You will work directly with our CEO to define our public presence and establish Chef as a market leader. This is a high-impact, generalist role where you will wear many hats, from shaping our brand identity to generating leads in the venture capital and engineering communities. As we grow, this position offers significant room for expansion and leadership, making it an ideal fit for an entrepreneurial professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
A day in the life
- You will lead our public release strategy and craft a compelling brand narrative that resonates with customers, engineers, and investors.
- You will manage our end-to-end marketing efforts, including maintaining our website via Webflow, designing assets in Figma, and producing high-quality video content from customer sites.
- You will drive top-of-funnel growth by managing trade shows, hosting webinars, securing PR placements in trade journals, and creating impactful sales enablement materials.
Who you are
You are a resilient, creative professional with at least 5 years of product marketing experience in a B2B, SaaS, or robotics environment. You have a proven track record of successfully launching products and are comfortable navigating the challenges of a startup. You possess excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of how to translate technical value into persuasive copy. You are technically proficient with Webflow and Figma, and you have a practical eye for photography and videography. Above all, you are an empathetic storyteller who can connect with diverse audiences, from potential customers to top-tier journalists. While not required, experience in industrial robotics or supply chain management is a plus.
