Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities in this job will be defined as we work together throughout the recruitment process however, they will be mostly centered around:

• Monitor the algorithms set by the search engines to keep up to date with changes.
• Program in HTML, CSS and JavaScript (plus) to ensure the site is accessible and easy to follow and for increased interaction with visitors.
• Responsible for registering, fixing, and maintaining weekly logs for SEO-related bugs/errors.
• Employ user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation methods to turn visitors into more active users and to help improve website performance.
• Optimize a mobile-friendly website.
• Collaborating with other SEO professionals, web developers, digital marketers, and many other specialists to eliminate recurring technical glitches.
• Administrating SEO tools – Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush and other relevant SEO tools.

What We Expect From You

We are looking for experienced business managers to help us reach our objectives. Industry experience is not a requirement, but you do need to be highly ambitious, proactive, forward-thinking, a fast learner, and driven to inspire and lead our team.

Furthermore, we are looking for candidates who:

• Portuguese as primary language.
• Academic background in Engineering, Marketing, Economics or similar areas.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JS, and site architecture.
• Minimum professional experience of 2 year.
• Theoretical understanding of on and off-page SEO strategies.
• Theoretical understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console and tools like Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, and other relevant SEO tools.
• Functional knowledge of Chrome DevTools, structured data markup, content analysis tools, and AMP.
• Conceptual Knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization and UX principles and practices.
• Good communication, interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Problem solving, strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
• Possess strong analytical skills for understanding ranking algorithms
