The role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Marketing Data Analyst to join the team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this position, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and serve as a central figure in influencing how the company makes strategic decisions. This is an in-house role where you will bridge the gap between raw data and creative marketing execution.
Core responsibilities
- Act as the primary expert for marketing and ecommerce data, managing everything from web analytics to first-party platform information.
- Design and automate comprehensive dashboards that highlight growth opportunities, conversion trends, and performance metrics across all digital channels.
- Collaborate with development teams to manage tagging through Google Tag Manager and provide the statistical analysis needed to support ongoing A/B testing efforts.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in data analysis and a passion for ecommerce. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience analyzing performance using web analytics and first-party data.
- Deep proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Heap.
- Strong SQL skills are considered a significant advantage.
- A proactive approach to project management and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to various stakeholders.
