About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Copywriter to join us in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be the voice of Goalbook, responsible for creating persuasive and educational content that connects with our audience. You will work within the K-12 special education space, helping us translate complex pedagogical concepts and product benefits into clear, engaging language. This is a remote position that offers the chance to collaborate with a mission-driven team, though you should be prepared for occasional travel for team events and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Create compelling copy for a wide range of channels, including digital campaigns, web pages, social media, and sales collateral.
• Use data analysis to evaluate the performance of your work, forming hypotheses and refining your approach to ensure our messaging is as effective as possible.
• Oversee and refine our internal copy creation workflows while providing expert proofreading and editing to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong background in professional writing and a deep understanding of the educational landscape. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in copywriting or content creation, ideally within an EdTech company, an education-focused publication, or a marketing agency.
• A diverse portfolio that demonstrates your ability to write for various formats and audiences.
• Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A keen eye for detail and an understanding of how specific word choices influence reader perception.

Location

This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere, provided you are available for occasional travel as required by the team.

Compensation and Benefits
