The role
We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Communications Director to join us on a contractor basis. This is a senior-level position based in Canada, and you will be leading our strategic communications through March 2026. You will play a pivotal role in elevating our brand and driving measurable business outcomes through impactful public relations and communication campaigns.
Core responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of an integrated marketing communications strategy that ensures consistent messaging across all global channels.
- Manage our global PR agency of record while overseeing media inquiries, corporate announcements, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Create high-quality content and leverage performance analytics to refine our communication strategies and improve overall ROI.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in marketing communications, specifically within a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Proven ability to manage external PR agencies and handle complex media relations.
- Strong project management capabilities with a talent for balancing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with marketing tools and analytics platforms to derive actionable insights.
