The role
We are looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our global Marketing and Sales Operations team on a full-time, on-site basis in the Netherlands. This is a mid-level position designed for someone who wants to take full ownership of our Marketo Engage instance. You will serve as the essential link between our strategic vision and the technical implementation of our marketing solutions, working alongside a diverse group of experts to troubleshoot challenges and support our digital marketing teams across every region.
Core responsibilities
- Take charge of our Marketo Engage platform by managing marketing programs, smart campaigns, and overall database hygiene to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with our sales operations team to synchronize our Salesforce and Marketo environments, focusing on lead lifecycle management, scoring, and data alignment.
- Translate complex marketing concepts into automated workflows while acting as the primary point of contact for our external marketing automation agency.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field such as Marketing, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience specifically with Marketo marketing automation.
- Proven ability to manage database structures and build insightful dashboards using tools like Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- A solid understanding of web analytics, specifically GA4 and UTM tracking, as well as familiarity with GDPR regulations regarding lead data.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required to communicate effectively with our global stakeholders.
