Role Summary
The Marketing Associate (Temp) supports our marketing team with administrative and operational tasks. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to gain hands-on experience in marketing execution!
Day-to-day duties include:
- Event Support
- Create and manage event listings on Eventbrite
- Assist with event logistics such as tracking RSVPs, sending confirmation texts to attendees, attendee registration, and post-event follow-ups
- Assemble and coordinate gift bags for events
- Maintain and manage event documentation and reports for future reference
- Organic Content & Social Media Management
- Monitor comments across social media channels (including Meta ads), responding to questions and escalating as necessary
- Assist with copywriting and proofreading, including blog posts
- Paid Social Advertising Management
- Manage the uploading and copywriting for ads on Meta and Reddit
- Collaborate with the content team and growth manager to develop ad concepts and messaging strategies
- Analyze campaign performance data, compile monthly reports, and provide insights and recommendations for optimization
- Administrative & Operational Support
- Process and track marketing expenses and invoices
- Ship patient gifts (e.g., onesies for new parents, thank-you packages)
- Order flowers for patients and partners
- Manage marketing inventory (e.g., swag)
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and propose solutions
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years of marketing experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with tools like Meta Advertising, Eventbrite, and basic expense reporting platforms is a plus
- Interest in fertility, healthcare, or women’s health is a bonus
Employment Type
This is a full time non exempt temporary position (6 months) with possibility of extension. This hybrid role is based in the Bay Area and will be required to attend company events outside of business hours.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $28-34/hr. This role also has bonus potential. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
