Marketing and Communications Intern at Presence

Presence stands as the premier provider of teletherapy solutions tailored for children with diverse needs. Our award-winning technology bridges the gap between schools, districts, and organizations nationwide and a dedicated network of speech-language pathologists, school psychologists, occupational therapists, and mental health specialists. To date, our network of over 2,000 clinicians has successfully delivered more than 7 million teletherapy sessions to K-12 students. We operate as a remote-first organization with a distributed workforce of over 200 corporate employees, maintaining a strong culture of collaboration through regular video engagement and cross-functional communication.

Key outcomes

• Lead strategic research projects focused on special education policy and emerging trends within the teletherapy sector.
• Monitor social media channels, blogs, and websites to gather competitive intelligence and identify key influencers.
• Pinpoint effective channels and forums to reach our target audiences.
• Synthesize complex data into actionable written summaries and presentations that guide our marketing and advocacy strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members to maintain alignment and contribute to an inclusive company culture.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, with an expected graduation in 2026 or 2027.
• Availability to work up to 25 hours per week during our 8-week summer program, from June 16 to August 8.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace tools, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
• Strong foundational research skills and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• A high level of organization, attention to detail, and professional curiosity.
• The ability to work independently while thriving in a remote, camera-on collaborative environment.

Compensation

This part-time, temporary position offers a pay range of 31000 USD to 42000 USD annually, adjusted based on the specific hourly commitment. Employees in this role enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote work environment.
