Market Development Manager, Protein Services at GenScript/ProBio

We are looking for a Market Development Manager to join our Protein Services team in a full-time, on-site capacity based in Piscataway, New Jersey. GenScript Biotech Corporation is a global leader in biotechnology, founded in 2002, with a mission to make humanity and nature healthier through our advanced gene synthesis technology. Our ProBio division provides comprehensive CDMO services, supporting drug discovery and commercialization across cell and gene therapy, vaccines, and biologics. In this role, you will help shape the future of our protein business by managing product lifecycles and driving strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of our protein services, which includes managing profitability, setting product roadmaps, conducting pricing reviews, and optimizing internal processes.
• Lead the planning, execution, and successful launch of new or upgraded service offerings.
• Drive business growth by performing market research and gathering customer feedback to identify emerging trends and unmet needs in the industry.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in the life sciences or healthcare sector. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Master of Science or PhD in a life sciences field is highly desired.
• Between 3 and 7 years of professional experience in product management, marketing, project management, or sales.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese is required for this role.
• A proven track record of leading successful projects and the ability to conduct detailed market analysis.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different functional teams.
• Prior experience working with a CRO is considered a significant plus.
