The opportunity
As our Manager for Smart Home, you will take the lead on our Direct-to-Consumer initiatives. This is a high-impact role where you will shape how our users interact with everything from smart locks and thermostats to advanced video surveillance and doorbell cameras. You will be instrumental in building the strategy that allows our technology to reach more people through intuitive, consumer-friendly installation paths. By working closely with our product, marketing, and support teams, you will ensure that our hardware and software solutions deliver a seamless experience that aligns with our brand promise.
A day in the life
- You will spearhead the transition of our smart home product line, adapting complex systems so they are easy for customers to install and manage on their own.
- You will craft engaging written and video content that serves as a roadmap for our users, helping them with everything from initial product setup to troubleshooting common questions.
- You will collaborate across departments to monitor market trends and gather direct customer feedback, ensuring our product roadmap remains at the cutting edge of the industry.
Who you are
You are a natural project manager who thrives when juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You bring a deep technical understanding of smart home and IoT products, and you have a proven track record of managing consumer-focused technology. Your communication skills are top-tier, allowing you to translate technical concepts into clear, helpful content for our users. You are a collaborative team player who is comfortable working with cross-functional partners, and you always keep the customer experience at the heart of your decision-making. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
