We are currently searching for an ambitious and talented Manager of Graphic Design to join our team in San Francisco. If you possess a keen eye for sophisticated, minimalistic aesthetics and an entrepreneurial spirit, we invite you to help us shape our brand presence. In this role, you will report to the Design Director and lead a dedicated team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity while ensuring our visual identity remains industry-leading.
Key outcomes
- Provide comprehensive creative support for our Growth Marketing team, including the development of static and motion ads, social media assets, and marketing emails.
- Oversee the full creative lifecycle of projects, from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Develop and refine design workflows to improve collaboration and efficiency across the organization.
- Ensure all visual output aligns with our brand guidelines while identifying opportunities to evolve our visual identity.
- Mentor and coach junior designers, supporting their professional growth and encouraging a design-first mindset.
- Present strategic design concepts to internal stakeholders, clearly articulating how your creative vision supports our broader business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to maintain high standards of innovation and quality.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional design experience, with 3 to 5 years specifically in a leadership capacity.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- A deep understanding of typography, layout design, color theory, and branding principles.
- A compelling portfolio that demonstrates both your design range and your ability to lead creative teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and associated tools.
