About the Role
We are seeking a Manager, Front End Development to join our Marketing department on a full-time basis. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Website Strategy and take a lead position in managing and growing our front-end development team. You will be instrumental in shaping our technical strategy, establishing development best practices, and ensuring our web presence remains world-class.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated performance management and mentorship to help team members master their craft, set professional goals, and achieve their full potential.
- Develop and execute a multi-year vision for the growth of the front-end team while establishing processes that ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to provide technical guidance and execute on web projects that support our broader marketing objectives.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role, with a demonstrated ability to manage, grow, and provide constructive feedback to a team.
- Strong technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in an agile environment, where you can think critically to solve complex problems and foster collaboration across departments.
Location
This position is based in Canada and requires an on-site presence.
