At N1 Health, we are dedicated to transforming the healthcare landscape through our Applied AI Platform. We help organizations prioritize and maximize patient interactions by providing curated data, pre-packaged models, and a secure infrastructure that enables targeted interventions. Since only a fraction of health outcomes are determined by clinical interactions, we focus on the external factors that truly impact patient well-being. We are looking for a motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity within the United States. Please note that we are currently unable to offer visa sponsorship, so you must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate directly with our data science and engineering teams to build and scale robust machine learning model frameworks.
- Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure required for seamless model testing, deployment, and real-time performance monitoring.
- Prototype new tooling functionality and lead the prioritization of infrastructure components on our product roadmap to support our growing business needs.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have at least two years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering or MLOps. We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, along with deep experience using machine learning libraries like PyTorch, scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
- Proven ability to use MLOps tools to manage models in production environments end-to-end.
- Experience with software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and observability.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus points if you have experience with NLP, workflow orchestration frameworks like Airflow, or working with healthcare data.
What you'll get
We believe in fostering a two-way relationship where we invest in your professional growth while you help us advance our mission. As a member of our team, you will receive the following:
- The flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
- The opportunity to shape the direction of our engineering group and product strategy.
- A supportive, inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and empowers you to do your best work.
