Machine Learning Engineer at Parspec

You will join Parspec as we work to bring one of the world’s largest industries into the digital age. Our platform organizes product data for the $5 trillion global construction market, helping designers, builders, and suppliers find the right materials faster and close deals more efficiently. Powered by proprietary AI and workflow automation, we have raised more than $11 million in seed funding from leading deep-tech and construction investors, including Innovation Endeavors. As an early member of our engineering team, you will help shape both the product and the culture of a fast-growing company founded in 2021.

What you'll be doing

• Design, train, and deploy computer vision, NLP, and recommendation-system models that power our core product features.
• Build complete end-to-end data and machine-learning pipelines, from research through production deployment, while collaborating closely with product managers and designers.
• Own product features from initial concept to final release, ensuring the code remains clean, scalable, and ready to handle large data volumes as we onboard new clients.

What you'll bring

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a science or engineering field, along with strong programming, critical-thinking, and analytical skills. You have a solid grasp of machine-learning and deep-learning concepts, with hands-on experience implementing models in Python using libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, and either TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch. You write clean, efficient, and reliable code, and you stay current with the latest tools and frameworks in AI. Experience with OCR or PDF processing libraries, competitive programming, Kaggle competitions, or open-source contributions is a plus. Because we work with a globally distributed team, you are comfortable occasionally adjusting your schedule outside standard IST hours. English fluency is required.
