The role
We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Robot Learning to join our AI Manipulation team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this position, you will focus on building agentic AI systems for industrial applications. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy advanced manipulation techniques, motion control systems, and planning algorithms that push the boundaries of what our autonomous robots can achieve.
Core responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated manipulation algorithms to improve the performance of our robotic systems.
- Develop and optimize learning-based methods for motion control and planning, ensuring they function effectively across our fleet of industrial robotic cells.
- Apply advanced techniques like behavioral cloning and reinforcement learning, including goal-conditioned models, to solve complex, real-world robotic tasks.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in robotics and a passion for solving technical challenges. We require the following qualifications:
- A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience applying machine learning techniques to fine-grained motor control.
- Strong programming proficiency in C++ or Python.
- Hands-on experience with robotic simulation tools such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or Mojoco.
- Deep knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, control theory, and optimization techniques.
- A track record of deploying scalable solutions for autonomous systems and contributing impactful research to the field.
