We focus on creating essential products that celebrate life’s simple pleasures. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our team and report directly to the SVP of Digital. This role is responsible for leading the execution and ongoing optimization of our email and SMS marketing programs. While our headquarters is located in the historic Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco, we offer the flexibility of remote work for candidates across the country. We also prioritize team connection by hosting various in-person events throughout the year to bring our community together.
Key outcomes
- Own the end-to-end creation and optimization of email and SMS marketing campaigns, ensuring all content meets our brand standards and technical tracking requirements.
- Manage project workflows for creative deliverables, coordinating effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendor partners.
- Collaborate with our Brand and Go-to-Market teams to develop a monthly content playbook that balances merchandising, performance, and brand goals.
- Analyze the performance of our email and SMS programs to uncover actionable insights, consistently reporting on the why and what is next for our strategy.
- Propose and execute data-driven tests and modifications to improve account structure and overall campaign effectiveness.
- Build and maintain automated email and SMS flows designed to increase prospect conversion and foster long-term customer loyalty.
- Deepen our understanding of customer purchasing behavior to improve personalization and automation across all marketing channels.
- Identify and implement priority tests for sign-up collection on our website to drive prospect growth.
- Support cross-functional initiatives, including retail launches and ad hoc reporting on repeat purchase behavior.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in an eCommerce or marketing role at a direct-to-consumer brand.
- A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in retention or lifecycle marketing, specifically managing automated flows and campaign calendars for large audiences.
- Proven ability to perform QA testing on high-volume email deployments.
- Strong proficiency in Klaviyo and experience managing large customer databases.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and communicate progress clearly to leadership.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to synthesize information from various sources to inform strategy.
- A collaborative approach to working across departments, including Digital Product, Growth, and Brand teams.
