Our team is composed of industry veterans from major companies like Blizzard, Sony, Riot, and Epic Games, and we are currently fully funded to build a dream team of experts. We are looking for a talented individual to join us as we craft a brand new IP with massive franchise potential.
Role at a glance
We are looking for a Lead Level Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote role that you can perform from anywhere in the world, provided you have a reliable internet connection. We are looking for someone with at least two years of professional experience who is ready to take a hands-on approach to our development process.
Your impact
- Take full ownership of the creation and delivery of a top-tier game world experience.
- Design, develop, and polish game levels, which includes handling layouts, enemy encounters, puzzles, and unique gameplay mechanics.
- Collaborate closely with our creative teams to ensure our world-building efforts are balanced, entertaining, and feature cutting-edge design.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a passionate gamer with a strong technical foundation. We require the following:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience working in the entertainment industry as a level or content designer.
- Proven experience with level and encounter design in at least one shipped title using the Unreal 4 Editor.
- A deep understanding of how to create engaging encounter experiences from start to finish.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively with our distributed team.
Bonus points if you have experience with RPGs, multiplayer co-op design, procedural generation, or game scripting languages like Blueprint, Python, or Lua.
