The opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on Lead Level Designer to join our mission. This is a full-time role that offers the freedom to work remotely from anywhere in the world. You will take ownership of our game world, ensuring that every environment we create meets the highest standards of quality and engagement. By joining us, you will play a pivotal role in defining the future of our new franchise and working alongside developers who have contributed to games with a gross aggregate revenue exceeding 10 billion USD.
A day in the life
- You will own the end-to-end creation and delivery of a top-tier game world experience.
- You will design, develop, and polish levels, which includes crafting layouts, balancing enemy encounters, and building unique puzzles.
- You will collaborate closely with our creative teams to ensure our world building remains innovative, entertaining, and perfectly balanced.
Who you are
You are a creative professional with at least two years of hands-on experience in the entertainment industry. You have successfully shipped at least one game using the Unreal 4 Editor, and you possess a deep understanding of how to build compelling encounter experiences. Because we are a global team, you are comfortable working across different time zones and are fluent in English. While not required, we would love to see experience with RPGs, multiplayer co-op design, procedural generation, and scripting languages such as Python, Lua, or Blueprint.
