What is this role?

We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a leadership-level position where you will own the foundation of quality across our entire product suite. You will work at the intersection of engineering, design, and product to ensure we deliver exceptional value to our enterprise clients. While this role can be performed remotely from anywhere, local candidates have the option to work from our San Francisco office on Mondays and Wednesdays.

What will you do?

• Champion Quality Standards: Define and implement the metrics and processes that allow our engineering teams to ship reliable, world-class products at high speed.
• Architect Testing Frameworks: Collaborate closely with our engineers to build and maintain robust testing systems that integrate directly into our CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Analyze customer feedback and production data to identify root causes of issues, leading systemic changes that elevate our overall engineering culture.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in quality engineering, including a proven track record of leadership. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with our core technology stack, which includes Ruby on Rails, React, Node.js, Selenium, and Cypress. You should be a proactive communicator who is comfortable distilling complex technical challenges into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams. A data-driven mindset and a genuine passion for understanding the customer experience are essential for this position. Proficiency in English is required.
