What is this role?
We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform. You will be embedded in our Financial Products Pod, focusing on designing sustainable and differentiated financial experiences for our users. This role is available for those based in San Francisco or New York City, and we operate under a flexible hybrid work model.
What will you do?
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering partners to define, build, and launch innovative features that solve real customer challenges.
- Create comprehensive user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and validate ideas throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Mentor other designers on the team, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow while contributing to our overall design culture and processes.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience designing digital products and systems. We are looking for someone who brings a growth mindset and a genuine curiosity about our customers. Key requirements include:
- Proven experience in fintech, specifically in designing products that simplify complex financial concepts.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present design decisions clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach to working with designers and product teams.
- Proficiency in English.
- A sense of humor and a positive attitude that helps keep the team energized.
