At Pair Team, we are on a mission to bridge the gap in healthcare for underserved communities. As a tech-enabled medical group, we provide whole-person care for high-risk Medicaid and dual-eligible patients by integrating social, clinical, and behavioral support. Our proprietary platform, Arc, empowers our multidisciplinary teams to deliver care directly within shelters and community organizations. We have already achieved significant milestones, including a 56% reduction in emergency department visits for our patients, and we are currently building the largest clinically-integrated network of community-based organizations in the country. We are looking for a visionary leader to help us design the future of equitable healthcare.
Role at a glance
We are seeking a Lead Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere. You will be joining us at a pivotal stage, bringing your extensive experience to shape our product roadmap and elevate the user experience for our clinical and operational partners.
Your impact
- Take ownership of the UI and UX strategy across our entire product suite, setting the design vision in collaboration with our leadership team.
- Partner with our AI team to pioneer new design patterns that leverage LLM technology to improve the efficiency and quality of care delivery.
- Work closely with clinicians, mental health specialists, and community partners to translate complex, real-world workflows into intuitive, high-impact digital solutions.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a seasoned professional with a deep passion for mission-driven work. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional product design experience, including at least 3 years within an early- or mid-stage startup environment.
- A strong background in qualitative research and quantitative analysis to inform your design decisions.
- Exceptional collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively alongside engineering, product management, data science, and operations teams.
- Experience designing for complex workflows, particularly where the end users are internal operations teams or clinicians.
- An ownership mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal bureaucracy.
- Fluency in English.
