At Wealthfront, we are on a mission to make building long-term wealth effortless for everyone. Since pioneering the robo-advisor category, we have helped our clients manage over $50 billion by providing automated, high-quality investment and banking services that favor the individual rather than traditional institutions. We are looking for a talented designer to join our remote-friendly team and help us continue transforming the financial industry.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Lead Product Designer to join our Growth team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position for someone with at least six years of experience in consumer technology. You will work remotely from anywhere in the United States, acting as a strategic partner to our product, engineering, and data science teams to shape the future of our platform.
What will you do?
- Define the vision and strategy for our Growth team, identifying high-impact opportunities that align with our broader business goals.
- Lead the entire product design lifecycle, from initial exploration and hypothesis testing to shipping polished, user-centric experiences.
- Set a high standard for design craft while collaborating with your peers to share feedback and elevate the quality of our products across the company.
What makes you a great fit?
You are a strategic thinker who thrives on turning complex problems into simple, engaging experiences for web and mobile. You have a strong background in product design, interaction design, and visual design, and you are comfortable using both quantitative data and qualitative research to inform your decisions. You have experience contributing to design systems and are able to navigate ambiguity to drive alignment across an organization. Proficiency in English is required, and experience with visual communications or animation is considered a plus. Most importantly, you are a collaborative team player who is resilient, intellectually curious, and dedicated to helping those around you succeed.
What's in it for you?
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $180,000 to $225,000 USD, plus equity and a discretionary bonus. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Medical, vision, and dental insurance.
- 401k retirement plan.
- Paid time off.
- Professional development opportunities.
- Wellness programs.
- Remote work flexibility.
