What is this role?
We are seeking a Lead Finance Writer to join us on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a lead-level position where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our editorial voice. You can work remotely from anywhere, as we prioritize your output and impact over your physical location.
What will you do?
- Drive content creation by writing and editing high-quality, accessible personal finance articles that align with our brand voice and help our users navigate complex financial topics.
- Provide mentorship to our deals writer, helping to foster a creative environment and ensuring our team maintains a high standard of editorial excellence.
- Develop editorial strategy by collaborating with senior leadership, marketing, and product teams to ensure our content supports business goals and resonates with our user base.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in personal finance journalism or professional content creation. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualities:
- Deep knowledge of financial subjects including budgeting, investing, credit, and pensions.
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities, specifically with a focus on SEO and mobile-first content design.
- Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity within a content team.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and performance metrics to refine and improve your work.
