About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Finance Writer to join us on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term basis. In this role, you will serve as the creative engine behind our editorial strategy. You will be responsible for crafting content that is accurate, accessible, and highly engaging, ensuring that our users receive the guidance they need to make smarter financial decisions. This is a high-impact position where your writing will directly influence how our customers manage their money and interact with our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of high-quality personal finance content, ensuring every piece aligns with our brand voice while remaining clear and helpful.
• Mentor and support our deals writer to foster a culture of creative excellence and professional growth.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, marketing, and product teams to develop a forward-thinking content strategy that drives engagement and supports our business objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Extensive professional experience in personal finance journalism or high-level content creation.
• A comprehensive understanding of financial topics, including budgeting, saving, investing, credit, and pensions.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities, paired with a solid grasp of SEO best practices and mobile-first content design.
• Proven experience in mentoring or leading other content creators.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to optimize content performance.
