Based in the Tulsa area, our client is experiencing a period of massive growth and is looking for a dedicated professional to help drive their innovative projects forward. This full-time, direct hire position offers you a chance to make a significant impact while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
What you'll be doing
- You will provide hands-on leadership to a small team of engineers and designers, guiding them through complex technical projects.
- You will perform critical design work and reviews, specifically focusing on the structural calculations required for API 560 heaters.
- You will oversee the development of fabrication and general arrangement drawings to ensure all equipment meets our high standards for industrial applications.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- At least 5 years of direct experience in equipment design within refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial plant environments.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to manage a team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day design work.
- Professional proficiency in English.
